About Anne *

Anne Catherine is a seasoned yoga teacher, movement educator, and holistic postpartum caregiver based in Boulder County, Colorado. With more than 25 years of personal practice and over a decade of professional teaching, she has dedicated her life to supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and every season of womanhood.

Anne’s integrative, research-informed approach blends functional movement, biomechanics, core and pelvic floor rehabilitation, traditional eight-limbs yoga, and Ayurvedic healing. Her trauma-informed methods are shaped not only by thousands of hours of training, but also by her lived experience as a mother who navigated her own physical and emotional challenges in pregnancy and postpartum.

She specializes in core and pelvic floor training that addresses issues like diastasis recti, prolapse, pelvic instability, and pain—offering both prevention and recovery through intentional, sustainable movement practices. Anne believes that care doesn’t stop after six weeks—and that it’s never too late to reconnect with your body and feel supported.

In addition to her group classes and private movement sessions, Anne offers in-home postpartum doula care rooted in Ayurvedic tradition. Her services include warm oil Abhyanga treatments, Bengkung belly wrapping, postpartum meal guidance, sibling and household support, and education in self-care practices. She also assists families with postpartum preparedness during pregnancy, helping them feel calm, organized, and resourced for the fourth trimester.

Anne is passionate about building community for mothers and families. She leads classes and groups that provide connection, shared wisdom, and mutual support—spaces where women feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether teaching functional yoga, preparing a nourishing postpartum meal, or offering a quiet moment of rest through bodywork, Anne’s presence is rooted in care.

When she’s not teaching or caregiving, you’ll find her in the garden, dancing to live music, or enjoying cozy, joyful moments with her children and dogs. Her work is grounded in the belief that every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience is sacred—and that honoring women’s health is essential to healing our families, communities, and future generations.
